Test Shot With Nikkor 50mm f1.8D

Finally got my Nikkor 50mm f1.8D lens... everyone was right about it... its a superb lens ! I feel in love with it the moment I took the first shot, the picture turns out to be so much more dramatic.... so cool... I'm in love  The pictures are nothing much, I only got a chance to play with the lens for a short while after I came home, thus I just shot around my room.

Away Day !!! Team Building !!

I honestly have no idea team building can be such a tiring thing to do... it feels like going to the gym from morning till night, and the only time to rest was during meals... after the event, I could practically feel my feet anymore... damn...
Despite whatever I said above, it was still fun... and most of the time... I had to protect my camera while doing the activities...

A Merdeka Celebration At Laundry

Yes... its Laundry again... I've been going there a lot lately. Was bored and J asked me to go chill at Laundry, didn't bring my camera out of the car at first as I thought that there wouldn't be anything special going on. Once I found out that Madison Flynt was playing and One Buck Short was opening, I rushed to the car and grab my camera and just started shooting away... had minimum time to set it up though...

Heineken Masterclass - Superbar Day 2

I FINALLY BOUGHT MY OWN SB800 !!!
Yep, talked to a professional photographer yesterday and she says that flash is quite important, since I've always wanted to get my own flash, I went to do it today. The Masterclass was a lot more relaxing and fun today... most pictures here are actually posed for the fun of it... had lotsa fun... who says rock music is bad ?

Heineken Masterclass - Superbar Day 1

Was given this great opportunity to join Superbar at Heineken Masterclass. They were the finalist for the Heineken Thirst 2006 and were given a chance to have 1 track produced by Greg Henderson. Honestly, if this studio is my house... I would've stayed home all day and not go anywhere at all...
In case you guys are wondering why am I always around bands... well, I have my own band and this is a great learning opportunity on how these other bands make it as well as practicing my photography skills at the same time.

Starbucks Music Series - Superbar

Yay ! I have been "hired" by Superbar to unofficially be their "official" photographer, of course... there is no money involved, just the oppotunity to go around taking pictures with them around... They did an acoustic set for the Starbucks Music Series at The Curve, so this is it.

Sound Check @ Laundry Bar, The Curve

My buddy Dinesh's band (Superbar) is doing an opening act for Isaac Entry and friends at Laundry, another first time for me... to take pictures in low light environments... I took a few pictures first without the flash but with ISO 1600, then proceeded to use the flash.
When I got home and browsed the pictures... I noticed that the pictures are exceptionally noisy...  I went to check the settings on my camera and found out that... I did not set the ISO back to normal  ... need to always remember this.
